Taylor Brown1st Grade TeacherMy name is Taylor Brown and this is my 2nd year teaching / being at TCEA. I was born and raised here in Fayetteville, NC. I have a heart for my city and community and I love NC. For my education, I first attended Fayetteville Technical Community College for two years and received my associates degree. From FTCC I transferred to The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I graduated from UNCP with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics December of 2017. Go Braves!! I have always had a passion for kids / students and I knew going into college that I wanted a career where I was surrounded by kids and where I could make a difference. I chose the career path of teaching and never looked back. I am the first educator in my family and I am very excited about this journey.
I have a passion for the arts and that is one reason that I was drawn to TCEA. As a teacher it is important to me to make connections with you and your child. I am here to do the absolute very best that I can to help your child learn and grow. Along with that, I aim to create a safe, positive and nurturing environment in the classroom. My goal is that you will join with me on this journey of learning. "The best thing about being a teacher is that it matters. The hardest thing about being a teacher, is that it matters EVERYDAY." - Todd Whitaker |
